Niger and Burkina Faso
These large randomized controlled trials evaluate the effect of mass drug distribution to improve childhood mortality in Niger and Burkina Faso. The lab works to carefully track antimicrobial resistance in these communities to better inform public health policies. Furthermore, we work to identify mechanisms in which antibiotics lead to improved childhood mortality.
